Welcome to Tyne:   It is our aim to provide you with information about  what is happening at Tyne Youth & Community Centre (TYCC) now, but also what might be happening in the future and a look back at our past.

Charitable objectives:

The objectives of the Tyne Youth & Community Centre are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Tynemouth and the surrounding areas, without distinction of age, gender, religious, political or other opinions by associating the local authority, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to improve the facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

This is a fairly new website and will be added to on a regular basis.   If there is a special topic or you have a particular interest that you would like to see on these pages, please get in touch.

If you are former member and are in possession of any archive material, especially photographs that you would like to be included on the website, please get in touch and I will add them gladly.
